For a company that's for sale, Alice France is surprisingly active, and they have just announced the launch of their fiber offer in Paris' 10th arrondissement. They plan to connect 300 buildings, which should represent 6 000 homes passed. Their offer will be a carbon copy of their current DSL triple play offer at the same price of 29.95 but downlaods of 50Mb/s.
It's hard to see this as anything else than a move to jack up their price before acquisition, especially since we should be hearing about who the likely candidates are in the next few days. Still, assuming they can pull if off fast, not a bad way to make the bride sexyer looking...
