The presentations that were held at the APDC Portugal Em Fibra Optica conference last week have been (mostly) uploaded. I encourage you to check out in particular Kip Meek's presentation on the overall value of NGA networks (especially if you missed the BSG's conference in London on June 9th) as well as Ofcom's Chinyeluh Onwurah's on regulatory options. It's the first I've heard about Active Line Access, a notion I find intriguing and necessary. I'll probably be blogging about this some more soon. Hopefully, Dirk van der Woude's very provocative presentation will be put online there too at some stage. Roger Darlington's speech was also very good, a different tone from what we're used to at these conferences. It's not online, but he's blogged about it.
Anyway, have a good read, it's all here. You might need Google Translation for some of these, but it's worth the effort, there's some great material.
