Fiber in Belgium (maybe...)

Be_dp As you read this, I'm currently at BBWF in Brussels. By an odd coincidence, Belgacom announced a few days ago that they would be trialing FTTH in an unspecified village in Wallony. This is interesting since Belgacom was until now a staunch advocate of VDSL and insatisfaction with broadband quality is very high in Belgium. According to an article in Smart Business (Belgacom teste la fibre optique jusqu'au salon), Belgacom will be partnering with Ericsson for the trial.
