These are a couple of DSL age adverts for Pacific Bell which were pointed out to me by my good friend and colleague in the land of the cold. They pinpoint a key issue with cable broadband which is still largely relevant to this day. They also happen to be absolutely hilarious. Advertising genius.

I'm wondering if we're likely to see that again in the US with the broadband war that's brewing between cable and fiber...
