As might be expected, some parts of this feel “normal” (facebook) but the photo browsing, the youtube video and especially the googlemaps walkaround are pretty darn impressive…
Isn’t really that impressive I don’t think. My DOCSIS3 cable connection is just as fast as that.
The biggest change I have noticed in day to day internet use wasn’t an upgraded connection, it was switching to a SSD on my laptop. Turns out, the seek times of a HDD actually slow things up massively when you hit the browser cache a lot.

I have 100M on cable and its like this. Really this terribly enthusiastic young man is showing broadband at LAN speed and its nothing special about google. Sweden had LAN speed broadband 10 years ago. What is interesting is his reaction. Clearly he never knew before that this is how broadband was meant to be. I suppose much of Europe and the US have yet to experience negligible latency and for them its new. When you have it you soon forget how mediocre things were before. Just like going back 3-4 generations of TV or smart phone.
